Ten student showcases from US-based universities

Dezeen School Shows: projects by students in architecture, interior and design courses at American universities are included in this roundup of Dezeen school shows.

The selection includes designs from institutions across the country, including the University of Oregon, California Baptist University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Corcoran School of the Arts and Design in Washington DC, and the School of Design in New York.

University of Oregon
Architecture

The University of Oregon showcased 10 student projects from the school’s architecture classes, including a Vancouver-based music hall designed to withstand rising sea levels.

The showcase also includes a plastic recycling center that reuses plastic waste in the structure of the building and a forestry research center that promotes local land management while providing the resources for natural disaster relief.
