Robert L. Davies Obituary – Burlington County Times

Robert L. Davies, of Westampton, died suddenly on Saturday June 25, 2022 at his home. He was 66 years old. Born in North Hornell, NY; the son of the late Sherwood and the late Marjorie (Blauvelt) Davies.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Beth” (Vatalaro); the children, Allison and Brian; sister, Deborah Gordon; brother, Howard (Marlene) Davies; nieces, Jessica Gordon-Sheehan and Carolyn Gordon.

Bob was a civil engineer (retired) from the New Jersey Dept. of Transportation where he started working after graduating from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.

He enjoyed golf, skiing, boating and motorcycling. Family and friends have fond memories of time together on the Swinging Bridge Lake in Monticello, NY. He was a rock and blues music enthusiast. Good times were spent with friends in many concert halls, but especially at the Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center, sacred place of the Woodstock Festival.

Special thanks to his “brothers” Tim Devoy and Ralph Jobes, good friends and neighbors who were always there when he needed them.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday, June 30 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, July 1 from 10-11 a.m. at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at a family plot in Constable, NY at a later date.
