OY targets 5 new high-end restaurants in Dubai by 2023

OY Hospitality, a Dubai-based hotel group, has announced plans to roll out an impressive portfolio of five new high-end restaurants, confirmed to open in the emirate between 2022 and 2023.

Founded by entrepreneurs Oleksii Kolomiets, an industry-recognized mastermind with over a decade of F&B expertise, and Yuriy Blotskyy, a digital guru, restaurateur and strategic marketing expert in FMCG and F&B, the duo have joined forces and combined his shared vision and expertise to present a new approach to Dubai’s hospitality industry by combining world-class universal branding with F&B operations experience.

The strategic group has also meticulously selected experienced professionals who will enhance the brand’s offering, including the nomination of Michelin-starred chef and GQ Superwoman of the Year Alena Solodovichenko, international sommelier and journalist specializing in wine, Olga Bebekina, and a culinary professional with more than 10 years of experience, Chef Mohamed Musthafa.

The five new concepts include:

GARTH: As an existing concept located in 9 Lounge, Kempinski Mall of the Emirates, the Southern European neo-bistro is an everyday destination with very insightful and understandable value set to re-launch in May this year. Being a progressive urban lifestyle experience, GARTH has designed a curated wine experience, to complement the bespoke menu.

VAGA: Located on Dubai’s popular hotspot, Bluewaters Island, and set to open in May 2022, VAGA Restaurant and Lounge offers a unique blend of contemporary Arabic cuisine complemented by Armenian culture. The restaurant, the first of its kind, incorporates a mix of modernized and heritage interiors, as well as four distinctive pillars, which can be rediscovered on each visit. While offering a concept menu, advanced mixology and an alternative wine list, VAGA is also the only venue in the new wing of Bluewaters Mall to serve shisha.

SFUMATO: A two-level gourmet workshop and original wine library located in the exquisite Opus Tower in Business Bay will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2022. This high-quality and trendy concept is an ambitious attempt to create a chic and progressive, allowing them to enjoy fashionable cultural codes in a popular location in Dubai.

FRANCK BY BASTA: Internationally award-winning restaurant, FRANK BY BASTA is an American-inspired concept that will open its first location in the Palm Jumeirah in the fourth quarter of 2022. With titles such as “2019 Best American Cuisine” and “2020 Best Meat Offer” by TimeOut Russia, the modern loft restaurant will offer a unique taste of premium meat with its original flavored marinades and advanced cooking technologies, for all meat lovers in the UAE to enjoy in a truly soulful atmosphere.

SARTORIA LAMBERTI: In partnership with Uilliam Lamberti, this restaurant will be a chic Italian concept combined with glamorous fashion, set to launch in the second quarter of 2023. SARTORIA LAMBERTI seeks to entertain customers with unique and stylish food menu and details; whether it’s an edible Mona Lisa or a personalized handkerchief, an idea curated by the chef.

The innovative group believes in the UAE market, having found a way to move from a short-term lifestyle destination to a long-term residence, and recognized the ideological fit and its positive impact on the F&B sector and its demand. The group’s recently announced concepts aim to offer different cultural experiences across the city.

Speaking on the recent announcement, Yuriy Blotskyy said, “OY Hospitality focuses on two key pillars that can set us apart from other groups. Our goal is to create brands that provide customers with a sense of community while enjoying a memorable experience, which will hopefully keep them coming back for more. And, as empathy is an integral part of our company personality, we will continue to ensure that people management is at the very core of our internal purpose. Together, we are convinced that this will be the recipe for success.

Oleksii Kolomiets added: “As visionaries and explorers, we bring innovative ideas and are not afraid to disrupt the market. From concept development to fit-out, OY Hospitality strives to ensure that its ideas will continue to match the progressive lifestyle of the UAE and look forward to designing different concepts with a longevity plan in sight. – TradeArabia Press Office
